Your Questions, Our Answers

Frequently asked questions

Payments & Contracts

What are my payment options?

Payment is by monthly Direct Debit, taken on the 1st of each month. You can cancel at any time.

Will you ask for a deposit when I start?

Yes. You pay a refundable £50 deposit for the lock when your agreement starts. Each key fob costs £20. Locks are only needed for outdoor units.

What is the minimum storage period?

One month. There are no long-term contracts.

How much notice do I need to give when leaving?

One month's notice in writing or by email. Once you've vacated the unit and returned the lock and key fobs, we will refund your deposit.

What are your storage prices?

Our units are priced from £81 to £150 per month, including VAT. The price depends on the size you choose. You can check current prices and unit dimensions on our Prices and Size Guide pages.

How do I choose the right storage unit size?

We have four unit sizes: 65, 77, 86 and 155 sq ft. A smaller unit suits the contents of a one- or two-bedroom flat. A larger unit is better for a house move, business stock or archive storage. If you are unsure, use our Size Guide or ask us for help.

Can I change to a bigger or smaller unit later?

Yes, subject to availability. If your needs change, speak to us and we will help you move to a more suitable unit.

Access and Storage

What are your access hours?

You can access the site 24 hours a day, every day, using your personal keyfob.

Can I load and unload right next to my unit?

Yes. Most units have drive-up access, with space for cars, vans and lorries. You can load and unload directly from your vehicle.

Do you have a forklift?

An on-site forklift is available to help with heavier or palletised items, subject to terms and availability — just ask and we'll do our best to assist.

Can I store my vehicle?

Our units are 8ft wide and raised off the ground. Smaller vehicles may fit using suitable ramps, but we recommend contacting us first to confirm suitability.

Are the units dry and suitable for furniture?

Yes. Our units are clean, dry and well ventilated, making them suitable for furniture, household items, documents and business stock.

Is there anything I can't store?

For safety and legal reasons, we cannot accept hazardous, flammable, perishable or illegal items. If you're unsure whether something is suitable, please ask.

How do I access the site?

Access is via our automatic gates and your unique key fob. It is quick, simple, and secure. If you need help, just contact us.

Can I drive right up to my storage unit?

Yes. We offer drive-up access, so you can park close to your unit for easy loading and unloading.

Insurance and Security

What security does the site have?

The site has 24-hour CCTV and an automated gate with personalised key-fob entry, so only authorised customers can enter.

Is my stored property insured?

We insure the structure of the unit against damage. We strongly recommend that you insure the contents separately. We work with Insurastore – a specialist self-storage insurer. You can get a quote directly through their website.
